John Henry seemed like the typical charming gentleman and Vane Black was the respectable young lady, until an unknown incident turns John into a murderer and destroys the life of his lover Vane Black. Now Vane, who literally seems to have returned from the dead, has become a bounty hunter in order to kill John. Yet, as Vane’s pursuit continues and John starts to speak of his great plan for the world, the reader is left to wonder what the relationship is between these two.
