Heather Brown was a regular student working in the school genetics lab until one night she trips and gets caught in a genetic splicing machine and is fused with spider DNA. Now with six arms instead of two Heather is not sure how to live her life, but when some people call her a hero she feels that this is the right path for her. While continuing to play the role of a busy student, Heather joins other amateur heroes in crime fighting adventures, earns the name Spiderette, and gains the attention of a crazy host of villains.
