The Earth is ruled by Yehweh the god of heaven and Mamon the god of earth. People who side with the gods gain a portion of their power. However, not everyone is treated or loved equally. The people of Mamon are considered greedy and evil while the people of Yehweh consider themselves to be cultured and peaceful. The only one who seems to think otherwise is Jeremy.
Jeremy doesn’t know how to better this and focuses on the small things. He helps a mysterious man named Mosa who looks suspiciously like a Mamon and is glad to have good company for once. He then gets the chance to leave when a girl named Rose Silver takes Jeremy and Mosa as her guards. They learn of the larger conflict between the people of the two gods and Jeremy decides to save his people, even if the people no longer believe they need help.
