Lucy Marlowe, a magician’s apprentice is competing against other apprentices for an important magical government position. While she isn’t the best student and sometimes neglectful of her duties she tries hard to prove herself. Her self-doubt originating with her ever unsatisfied mentor can make it difficult for her understand and trust her classmates.
