Surfer Joe

SurferJOE follows the rise of a legendary surfer from the beaches of Sendai Shinko, as told by those who knew him best. In order for Joe to go from kook to local legend he will need to overcome his fear of the ocean and earn the respect of the locals. But everyone knows to become legendary one must surf legendary waves! The road is hard, but with the help of his friends Hiro and Kirra, Joe has a fighting chance to learn the ropes of the lineup and become a capable surfer!

Main Characters

Innocent and sensitive, Joe just wants to be part of the gang. He’s madly in love with surfing, but he doesn’t know the first thing about it. His lack of knowledge combined with his overall lack of athleticism makes him a liability in the lineup. Because of this he is quickly becoming a pariah in the local surfing community.

A lone wolf type, he prefers to keep people at a distance. He does this by maintaining a spacy, carefree vibe. But there is more to hiro than meets the eye…

Quiet and a bit prickly, she has a massive chip on her shoulder. Though she is always ripping on the best waves, she doesn’t get the recognition that her male peers get in the lineup. Even from her own father. This drives her to train and surf harder than anyone else.
