In this fantasy realm, exists two dominating races. The angelic Alar who have been granted wings by the goddess Alarina and the demonic Ildrei granted magic by their god Ildrus. For years the Alar have remained as the dominating species and shunned the Ildrei at the bidding of their goddess. However, the balance of power is threatened when a child between the two races is born.
This child is named Morwenna and though she is shunned for being a half-breed she does not know who her real parents are. Instead, her mother Neva left her in the care of her brother Cimos. In the care of her uncle, Morwenna has grown to enjoy life as a hard working blacksmith’s apprentice, but her simple life changes when her father Neburas discovers her existence and decides to use her in his plan to overthrow the Alar.
